Hi there,

Not really sure where to post this I just wanted to share my report about Lewisville Lake and my great experience of Texas fishing.

I live in NYC so I am used to fish Striped Bass, trouts in the Catskills and a little bit of LM Bass.

I am still blown away by the beauty of your lakes, the landscapes of Texas and by the fishing potential of Texas' waters.

Because I have been lurking in this forum and learn some things I have put together a little report of my great experience in the Lone Star State.

A special mention to all the great fishermen I met on and off the water, great people, sharing tips and some locations was greatly appreciated.

The report is on my modest blog: I Fish New York Blogspot

Please feel free to drop me a line if you are around NYC and you are looking for a place to wet a line.

Tight lines,
PAC

Stinky, just watched your video of kayak/42" striper, very cool. I have a little jon boat I cruise around in but am thinking I may add a kayak to the fleet.

Thanks for watching! smile This fish a real beast! I mean the power of this fish was damn sick - Kayak fishing changes everything and you can access the real big fish - Those spook by motors and those located in heavy cover / far from shore. cheers

Great job! Looks like you made the most of your time in texas. Next time you come out, if you want someone to march down muddy creeks with you; hit me up.

No talk about the yankees though. ha ha

Thanks for the message next time I will - hopefully during Spring or late Fall!

I already tied some flies designed for Lewisville lake.
