I'm gonna make a trip to a power plant lake next week when I get home. The three in contention are bastrop, fayette, and squaw. I know fayette halfway decent, but have never seen bastrop or squaw. Bastrop is about an hour closer than the other two. Which one should I chose? Any idea on which one is fishing the best?

I would choose Bastrop, that much closer to the house.

Defin not Squaw. I would not fish there for free right now.

From reports I have read both bastrop and fayette have been tough this past week. I love fishing either of those lakes though. I would say fayette is more consistent than bastrop.

Good Luck!

Bastrop is the best for numbers. Fayette bite is slow right now. Can't comment on Squaw, never been there.
