Do any of the Navionics lake maps provide detailed data such as river or creek channels like the paper maps? Is data for things like sunken dams, road beds or other structure/cover? All I have on my map is contour lines and maybe some flooded timber that's about it.

I've noticed that the iPhone Navionics map has plenty of detail and way more than the chips.

If you purchased a Navionics Platinum(MSD-HMPT-xx) or Navionics Premium(MSD-PREM-xx) card since about October, 2010 you should have done a Freshest Data Update for the newest lake data?

Go to www.navionics.com.

I'm up to date on my Navionics Platinum and from what I can tell very few if any lakes have contour lines shallower than about 5'. Also they don't have creek/river channels in general. I find the Insight maps to be more useful the majority of the time I'm on the water. Basically, I'm not impressed. I also hate that I can't tone down the information a bit. For example, I would love to be able to display 3' intervals some times instead of always 1', but there is no ability to tweak stuff like this.
