How do y'all pack, tons of stuff or the bare minimum. I've figured I can carry one of those clear Plano trays with enough hooks: circle, and worm, weights, a few spinner baits and some rattle traps. The worms are the only things that cause problems. I use a small binder for them but it's a pita to pull out from under the seat. Guess I could just carry a few less bags.

After a lot of trial and error, I went to the thin Plano box's and have a box for each rod setup.

This will have the bait and rigging for each, just pull out the box that goes with the rod that I am using.

Works pretty good and is easy to keep up with stuff.

But still trying to figure out the perfect setup, good post, be interested to see what everyone is using.

Bare minimum for me. I keep it as simple as possible.

I used two waterproof tray style boxes for my my hard lures. One has the larger baits and one has the smaller ones. Then I have a smaller waterproof tray style box for my hooks, weights, jigs, etc. Then I have a zip lock bag full of soft plastics. And thats about it. I keep everything under the center hatch so its easily accessible while Im out on the water.

2-4 rods rigged & 2 loose tackle trays. maybe a few packages of assorted soft plastics in my PFD or loose in the yak. no need to take it all is my mind. one day i admitted that i had a 1/2 ton of tackle that I'd never use & honestly didn't work for me at least on what i was targeting. Finally decided I'd learn to use some more versatile lures that caught fish & more importantly what worked well for me.

I use a crate and it holds 5 regular size boxes and 2 smaller ones. I also have two bags to hold my plastics that I keep in the hull. I also carry 5 rods via two hobie rod holders. I take everything I have when bass fishing. Never know what there gonna want.

I use the Falcon FTO 400 series system before Plano took over. Unfortunately it's been discontinued, but I managed to get a hold of extra boxes when I still could. For bass fishing I have 5 small tackle boxes that I carry a variety of lures, but in basic patterns. I'll adjust the some patterns depending on the year (ex craws for the spring). I use a spinnerbait wallet too. Sand bass, crappie, and stripers each have one box specific to targeting them.

For the coast I have 2 medium boxes that'll catch'em year round.

For Bass fishing I try to take everything. I hate getting out there and wanting to use something that I didnt bring. I use 4 clear plano trays for hard lures. Also, Plano makes a decent bag that zips closed and has a carrying handle on it that has 3 ring zip lock bags inside it. Each has about 12 bags in it and I like them bc you can take a sharpy and lable each bag.
