I know you creek junkies have been getting your fix, but I'm still paying on this boat and my wife needs to see it leave the house every now and then! Anyone doing any good deep? Lake Nac is down 14ft. Max depth used to be 45 ft. Now I guess 31 and not a whole lot of deep water. No creeks for them to hide in. Should they be stacked up in the dam by now?

Seems to me like they would be. Iv never tried fishing deep in the winter but id think the shad would have to go deep in that situation. Find the shad and find the fish. Only one way to find out. fish Good luck to you and let us know how it goes. thumb

Me and a buddy managed 15 keepers recently at Lewisville. 18' was the magic number. Found a brushpile and found fish scattered around it. Didn't have to be tight to brush to get bit.

I plan to spider rig on Cedar Creek Lake in the near future. Just concerned about all the sand bass and hybrids tangling up my lines! I did purchase the Wally Marshall spider rig hook set up and anxious to give them a try. May go to Purtis Creek where Ratmo introduced me to spider rigging.
