Hi......I've never been to Galveston and I'll be fishing bank/surf fishing the area next week and staying around 61st street near the beach.
What is your favorite bait/tackle shop in the area for good bait, tackle, tips etc.? Thanks!

Go to Tucker's. It's in a strip mall next to the public boat ramp on 61st. Mr. Wayne is always kind enough to give you a couple of fishing tips.

If you are fishing the surf... don't forget about the south jetty... just be careful. Could be some flounder right where the flat meets the channel.. good luck.

I'm an Aunt Margie's fan. Jason and Melissa are great people and every now and then my favorite dog walks me into the store. It's on 61st before Stewart, by the water.
