Just returned from Falcon and being there was great. The wind kicked our a$$ but still managed to catch 25 to 30 quality fish a day. Caught most of the fish on brem colored DD22s and homemade football jigs in Texas craw with a Strike King rage craw trailer in a color called Big Tex.
Bought a new rod before we left made by Custom Angle Rods (across parking lot from Oak Ridge) in a heavy action and was amazed at the sensitivity of the rod. You can feel every rock and twig that you come in contact with. You might want to check one out sometime. The fish are skinny but still fight harder than any bass I have ever seen. Rocks are the key. Good luck if your going.
