Our church group are planing on a trip to Texoma later in the year. Now I have fished Texoma for better part of 20 years but I have a house on the lake . Now I am looking for a place about 25 to 30 men can stay. What do you think.........

Interesting question. On the Texas side I'd start by calling the Pottsboro Chamber of Commerce, or maybe Denise Smith at the City of Pottsboro for some suggestions. Charlie Martin or Ron Wood at the Lighthouse Marina might be able to arrange several cabins together .... On Hwy 406 just east of Hwy 120 there is a sign for a resort of some sort that I notice has grown over the last couple years. On an upscale basis there is always the deal at Tanglewood - on the other side of the Highport Cove. Post your findings as I'm sure others would like to hear about what you find. I have absolutley no knowledge about the Oklahoma side but you might post this question the SixOldGeezers site too if the Okie side is not out of the question.

On the Okla. side the State Resort east of Kingston has several options. They have 30 two bedroom cabins that sleeps 6, 40 Duplex cabins that sleeps 4,all with kitchens. Bayview lodge has 20 rooms sleeps 40 has a kitchen, screened in porch within walking distance to the campgrounds, boat ramp and Catfish bay marina.Keep in mind this is a 50 year old facility but its not bad and they stay booked solid during season.Hope this helps. You might also check out this website. www.shopoklahoma.com/Texoma.htm

Go with what tacklehound has said. There is a large bunkhouse that holds lots of people at the OK State Park. Great accomodations.
I'll be in the cabins there this weekend.
