I haven't tried it but went to check 11/3. Narrow side had about 5-6 feet of sand exposed at the end of the concrete and the wide side was wet. However there is a sign warning about drop off and evidence of skid marks of people trying to pull out. Those wash outs can be treacherous and tricky. Good luck.
