Tough question! What you are looking for is 1. going to have to come from a dealer who has taken in a trade where the boat is junk and he is selling the motor seprate, 2. a motor from a shop that has been rebuilt where the shop bought the motor as junk (like yours?), 3. an out of town rebuilder. I would start by calling every dealer in the phone book and asking if they have a n engine that you could use. I know that Plano Marine and Barber have had motors in the past and Lake Park Marine in L'ville rebuilds a lot of motors from scrap. I would if at all possible buy a new motor with a factory warranty even though I had to make payments rather than go thru what you are up against... and that is exactly what I did last year only with the whole rig 'cause I was tired and going broke putting bandaids on my old wore out Yammer... and went and bought another one ! with a new boat under it!!! Cheaper and a lot less stressful in the long run and a big upgrade from older technology both in the motor and in the boat. Good Luck

Thats great news !! Who is your insurance company ... I might like to change to somebody like that !!! It's too dang hot to fish right now anyway so chill and enjoy the new engine when everything is put back together right.

Hey Mark, whats been going on ??? Tried to get ahold of you the other day to find out what was going on with you and the boat. Is the insurance company going to just cut you the check ?? I found a number in the newspaper on good used motors (save some money to put towards the repair of the boat) 817-488-8165. Call me,let me know whats going on.
