Do Senkos work in cold water? What is the minimum temperature?

I think they are at their best in cold water. Wacky rigged or Texas rigged.

It depends on how cold the water is. The water below is constantly moving under your boat and will give the bait it's own action. Remember the colder the water the longer you let it sit there. You have to just sort of try out the fish to see what they like. Start by bragging and if it does not work then start slowing down and count each time and just add to the count on each cast. You will get the hang of it. It is going to take patience

Yea the place I'm fishing has a lot of grass and I'm a co angler. It's supposed to be about a high of 61 degrees, low of 48

If you go wacky get a lead head w/ a weedguard. Wacky is sometimes referred to as finesse fishing, but you can up the line and make it power fishing. The wacky would be a bit cumbersome if you are throwing up in the thick stuff, this is where you would go Texas. If you are going to be throwing around just patches of grass you would be fine. Try a beaver style or creature to offset it.
