Fat bass right at 24.5 inches. I didn't have a scale, but I would say 8 or a little better if I had to give a weight, but I've not caught any as big as her in a few years.

Regardless she was a year best and my top water PB.

5-6 lb football looks like a Squaw bass

24" - I give you 7.5 to 8 easily.

Pretty thick tail and mid section, easily a big 7 may go lil 8.

No way a 24.5" fish that thick is a 5 sorry man. I'd give her 8 going length and how fat she looks.

Fwiw, i couldn't have gotten a worse picture for estimating size on the pic alone if I tried. The mouth is not as small as it looks (though not overly large either).

And on a duh note (personally) for estimating I have a double mount with a 7.51 and 8.58 (certified scales, and I apologize to the gods for killing those 2), and both of those are about 23".

Yes, you would figure with the girth and being 24.5", it would weigh at least 8#, maybe more.

I'd say easy 8 as well. Maybe even a 9 just hard to tell from a picture. I've seen people post up 7 lbers on here and call them 10's and 11's! LOL glad to see a change of pace!

If you google est lmb weight or go to tpw page thet have a chart that is pretty damn close to the weight
