Today I drove over to martin creek WOW!! I only drove down the road by the employee entry. Was completely shocked at the amount of grass that was there, the deer that I saw were enjoying eating in places that Ihave FISHED! Could not see if the employee ramp was able to launch a boat. -- on down the road to the area where the road crosses the lake at the Scraper cut HOLY MOLY!! I drove on the bridge that My boat and I went over last spring. The bridge (that WAS under water) is now about 5-6 feet out of the water. AND I saw that 'one stump' that everyone hits or talks about just east from the road bridge IT is more like a telephone pole.
Water is down IMO about 9-11 feet. Would have taken picture but phone battery was dead.
One thing that really bothered me was the amount of TRASH on the edge of water. So many bottles and if you need some aluminun cans there were thousands there. Made me wonder how much trash was near the Martin park shoreline.
If you drive out there you to will be amazed at the very LOW water conditions.
This winter we all will be looking in another direction from Martin Creek unless we get a real toad floater.
I was wondering if the plant would be able to produce if the low water conditions continue?
