Fished with the Quality Bass Club event to take wounded soliers fishing yesterday. Great event. Caught a 6.22, a 4 and a 3 with a texas rigged big bites bio bait trick worm in okeechobee craw rigged with 1/8 oz fish strong tungston weight. We threw it in 3-6 feet around scattered grass. Fished with Sgt Ian Stauffer and his wife and they got first place in the event. What a blast.

Frogs on the grass mats early, or drag a jig off the top of the hydrilla and watch for bites on the fall. If you can find it in 6-10ft of water, you're in business.

Squarebills and chatterbaits along the grass edges and through trees. Water is definitely stained in areas where the wind is hitting, so choose colors appropriately. Later you can flip trees a little deeper. Good luck! Let us know how you did.
