went to choke canyon on wed and bankfished at the san miguel boat ramp.we caught perch in the castnet and used them for bait.we were casting out 6 feet from the bank and caught 3 flatheads and 2 blues all under 6 pounds.then this man came into the boat ramp in a 12 foot aluminum v hull.he said he had some trotlines up the san miguel creek.the bottom of his boat was full of cats all kinds and sizes largest was a flathead between 45to50 pounds.he said the san miguel had flooded and was bringing fresh water into the lake so all the catfish were up there feeding.just thought all you choke catfisherman might want to know
