Has anyone been on Whitney recently ? Fished it two weeks ago and it was turning over.Just wondering about the condition of the water and if the white bass had started their fall bite.

Can you still get in? I went about 3 weeks ago and it was only 1-2 ft deep at Loafers.

Whitney is good.... You can still get on at:

Lofers Bend East
Lofers Bend Day Use
Lofers Bend Harbor Master Marina
Juniper Cove

I was on the lake today, it is the clearest I have seen lately, but did not see any schooling fish. The guys I saw striper and white fishing were in Rocky Creek and in Towash Creek, but they were all too far away for me to tell if they were catching as opposed to fishing.

The lake turn over didn't impact the bass fishing much.

the armadilla....
