fishing the oilmans tourny this weekend and my motor alarm came on and i noticed it wasnt peeing.would it by any chance be the water pump

possibly, thought it was my trouble too but turned out a stupid dirt dobber made a house up in my tube and when it got wet it turned to mud and clogged it up. if you keep the pickup holes uncovered that could be the problem too. i kep mine covered now just for that reason. i ended up pulling the lower off and a good flush is all it took and you could see the small bit of mud come out with the lower off.
To pass more on to my two kids than was passed onto me.

Dirt dobber wont cause the alarm to come on, unless it builds a nest in the water intake.

TLW, good place to start.Mechanic said it is the water pump.He will be changing it tomorrow
