Fished RC pretty much all day saturday. Beautiful day to be on the water with the boys. We caught fish all day. No big fish but tons of fish about the size of the one in the pic below. I caught some huge gizzard shad and had high hopes for some big fish but no takers on the big baits all day. Tried the big baits cut and live. The cats seemed to prefer the smaller threadfin shad cut up in pieces. Best activity was over at windsock point in about 28-31 ft of water. Later in the day we moved over to a point just south of the 287 bridge and picked up another 20 or so good eating size fish in 18-20ft of water drifting. Early in the day we were able to anchor up and keep the fish under the boat. However later in the day the wind shifted and started blowing from the north. After that drifting was the key. All fishing today was catch and release. No monsters but a great fishing day for the kids with almost non stop action. Only managed to get the one pic below.
