Shimano citica hands down +1 best bang for the buck. I have to revise this. The Curado E on sale for $119 is a better deal than the Citica for $99 in my opinion.

Lews is a good reel I just personally don't like the handle on it. Only complaint I've had so far on it. I just know citica will last forever
I can backlash toilet paper.

Citicas are nice but I'd go with the Revo SX, depending on how much you wanna spend. Great reel. You could also check the trading post on this site (plug) for slightly used ones. I've found several on here in good shape for reasonable prices.
I catch em when their bitin!

The Lew's Speed Tournament Speed Spool reel rocks. MUCH better than the Citica. Even the regular $89.00 speed spool is better than the Citica in my opinion. Nothing that wrong with the Citica, but these Lew's rule.
I have both, curado and lews. I upgraded my curados with ceramic bearings to bring them up to speed with the lews (Tournament Pro with mag AND centrif brakes.) The Lews is MUCH lighter than the Curados, so I have it on my crank'n stick.
