Well we went out yesterday for the wind was too low not to.Stopped at The Dam Store for some minners,then the big surprise my son Josh left a 1.5 lb Crappie in THE LIVE WELL from two and a half weeks ago!So back to Sanger to clean out the front live well of maggots,that was a gut wrenching thing at 6:45am.I thought a cat had got undr the boat cover and sprayed it,the front well is where I keep bait but the last trip the rear pump locked up so we used the front for the first time.He doesn't know it yet but he is about to detail the whole boat,for free!We caught 84 and kept just a few,size is still a problem for now,but Lord we ate well.Early in the summer I pulled a 9.16lb bass off this pile and I saw her cuzin come sky'n out of the water after a Crappie,she got her lunch!I think this is the problem,too dang many fat bass hanging around me pile eat'n my supper!Didn't see any Sandies boil in the mornin which kinda seemed weird,it was late in the day before the bass started chasing bait.But all in all it was a Blessed day to get out.

YEs it was and every time I'd reload a minna I would reexperience it over and over,even a nice boat ride to cool off and let the hole rest would get my nose to twitching.I think I pumped about 3000 gallons of lake water through that well,heck I even found some glass cleaner in the truck to spray all that I could and "Still" would knock a Buzzard off a gut wagon My fish'n partner switched up to swim baits,just to keep from going in there.But the fish seemed to really really like maggot flavored minners though.

There's no way I coulda and still eat my lunch or have a drink.Now if they were boxed up and I knew I was work'n with them and had some heavy duty hand cleaner it might of happen.

Plug the live well. Add a few cups of baking soda. Fill with water. Let soak a good long while. Rinse. Repeat if necessary. This worked for me after my bait well got nasty from a similar forgetful experience. Worked well.
