My stuff got jacked! I always read accounts of this and its happended to me. Right in my own driveway. I loaded up my truck night before, just put my trolling motor and fishing bag in the cab. Locked the doors, next AM I come out, truck door open, trolling motor gone and fishing bag and my stero. Right in my own driveway. Cop said this has recently become an issue in my area. I am in lewisville near Bellaire and Garden Ridge... if you live in this area heads up... Also if anyone trys to sell you a Minnkota 30lb with a weedles wedge prop on it...let me know. Man I hate thives...

Had all my tools stolen like that before, makes you feel kinda violated.

You really do feel violated, I have read that it happens to guys at boat ramps alot, and that sucks. But somehow feels different when its right out of your driveway...

The cop seems suprised that I did not know the serial # to my trolling motor. I guess if you have the serial number and it ever gets pawned the cops will know. Same for all your stuff, tv, DVD, of course your guns etc.

Another tip dont store the list on your PC, the thives will take that too, actually handwrite (if you remember how) the serial numbers and keep it someplace safe.

One good thing is that I did get to know the few folks on my street I had not met...I went door to door to give them all a heads up.

I hope they catch they catch the scum that stole your property, and prosecute them to the max. I wished this didn't happen to you, because I really hate and despise thieves. You might think about getting or starting or getting involved in a neighborhood crime watch in your area, all it takes is a few of your neighbors and friends working together and looking out for one another to make it work.

Last time someone broke into my truck, instead of stealing my raggeldy old stuff they added their own to it!

I feel your pain. I lost over $2k in car audio equipment a few years back. A few weeks after putting in some new subs, now take in mind I don't go through neighborhoods blaring and knocking pictures off the wall, just to come out at 5:30 in the morning and see my back window busted out and everything gone. My insurance company covered everything, but it is still a horrible feeling.

Sorry to hear it. Insurance or not, it is one of the worst clubs to join.

I would go through the same routine again. I would load my truck and wait! Someone saw you, either by passing by or possibly neighbors.
