May be a dumb question but after watching that BC episode where the guy measured a short fish what is the "official" measuring stick for this event?

My tournament director will go thru everything prior to start of tournament. We will have a courtesy board set up at weigh in. Not sure as to the board he will be using. He is checking and will let me know. Also, you may come by friday at registration or saturday morning and compare your board to the official board.
