I would like to see some pictures of Carp, Buffalo, Koi and Amur caught this month 2011.
I'm literally embarrassed about the lack of fishing I have done this spring & summer. If it wasn't for Mike and August I doubt I would have gotten off the couch at all.
So please post some pics of the one's you catch this month.

Maybe with the cooler weather today someone will get a big one Don.I dought if many have fished in the last few hot days though.

Don't feel bad about not fishing this summer. The fish don't feed very much in this weather.... although today is really nice.

Yeah, this summer has sucked for me after June. June was pretty awesome though.
PB Common Carp....... 38 lbs
PB Mirror Carp........12 lbs 8 oz
PB SM Buffalo........ 53 lbs
PB Grasser........... 48 lbs 4 oz
PB Blue cat.......... 17 lbs (caught on maize)

So far this month in three sessions Kristi and I have had a 25lber, 24lber, 22lb 12oz and a 20lber. Trying for some more today. Will add pictures tomorrow.

Awful nice fish hauling pictorial.I'm humbled,still have'nt even gotton first turtle bite out of lbl.It's reassuring to see proof they are there good job!

The interesting part of this sequence is that these are the only fish, no mid teens, doubles, singles or any other fish of any sort.
Lost one biggie, almost instantly in a snag, the same day as the 24lber. all these fish came on evening sessions. Mornings have produced nothing in the last 3 weeks.
I am fishing dinner plates not banquet tables - so no heavy prebaiting, just two or three balls in the vicinity of each hook bait then just my bag mix in small PVA stockings or packed around the hook. Last time I use a lot of bait we caught mainly teeners with one 40lb buffalo.
I have also been staying away from the deeper water and catching in the shallower water.

Don - I live here in Austin so I fish Saturday evenings, Sundays and Mondays with an occasional evening after work (finish at 7:00 pm).
