After I finish the last few smokes in this pack of cigarettes that I have I am quitting...

I had quit once before for over 7 years so I know I can do it, and then after I retired from the service and moved back home I was out with friends that smoke and tried one. That's all it took to get started on this nasty habit again.

Wish me luck.... going to be a stressful 3 days at least...

GOOD LUCK!!!!! The gum was the only way I made it through. But over a year later and I haven't touched a single cigarette. I know if I can do it, you can do it.

Thanks, finished the last smoke at around 12:30 yesterday and haven't had once since, been chewing the heck out of some Juicy Fruit gum... LOL

Got to get through these first few days to start retraining the mind and body and what it is supposed to do and then it will be better...

Hon, if you need to rant, rave, pitch a fit, whatever, we're here. Just holler if you need help. Nothing much I can do but commiserate, but I've been right there in your shoes. I know the irritation, the wanting to slap idiots silly.

The third day is the worst of it. If you can make it through that, it starts getting better from there.
