Maybe spring is finally getting here. I went to my local panfish/bass lake this weekend and managed to catch a few microscopic perch on little nymphs, poppers and dry flies. I did go out a couple of weeks ago late one afternoon and fished from the bank a while and caught a couple of small bluegill on light colored dry flies. This weekend was the first time I put the kayak in this spring. The lake still seems to fish like February but if we can get a few days of sun the water will start warming up and the little guys will get active. I'm starting to get cabin fever. Doug

I think its gonna get better and better. Its really warming up now, the water temp will rise and the fish will start to spawn. (My humble request is that we all take it easy on the spawners, that's where next year and the years afterward are coming from).

The sand bass ought to be running. If not already then really soon.

Bless you all and have a happy spring. Especially bless all those about to go in harm's way overseas. Whether one supports the war or not, let's all support the troops.
