Just got diagnosed with................................. Fishing Deficit Disorder

What exactly are the symptoms? Inability to concentrate on mundane things unless fishing is involved, a persistent agitated state of mind without a fishing pole in your hand, an unexplained compulsion to put off tasks and run down to the lake/creek "just for a minute", etc? Sounds familiar to me.

Sounds familiar to me. When I had my VA separation physical they classified it as "PTFDD" or Post Tramatic Fishing Deficit Disorder

Really sorry to hear about that diagnosis. A friend of mine was given six months to live when he found out about that condition. He broke down in front of the doctor and asked him what he was going to do with the rest of his time on earth.
The doctor told him to marry an ugly,
fat girl with three kids in diapers, get some pigs, and move to Oklahoma. My friend was very puzzled and asked the doc what this had to do with having six months to live.
The doctor replied, "It's going to make that six months seem like a lifetime!"
