Cam - haha. You save my photos. I was 15 in that pic with KVD. No wonder Cam likes you so much Dan, you look like Jay Kendricks twin in that pic! And we all know what he thinks of Jay! This coming from Sinkey? The closest you get to a lake now is filling up your kids swimming pool in the back yard. PROCRAFT FOR LIFE

So in the grand scheme of all things that matter in life.....WHO REALLY CARES if we call it a perch or a bluegill....is it going to solve world hunger if we get the name correct????? It truly amazes me what gets people fired up these days.
Character is who you are when nobody else is around.

The same reason some fisherman say "BonDo" instead of " Barn Door" Crappie. Lack of knowledge and repeating something they`ve heard over the years or from childhood. .If a "Blue Gill" is considered a" Perch "then why not a "Black Bass" they are both part of the same family of Fish(Sunfish)The name "Perch" is a family of it`s own same as "Croaker" Some people say that a fish is a perch because it is smallish and don`t know what else to call it.So for the record my fellow TFFr`s that don`t know, the Bream,Greenie,Blue Gill,Shell Cracker,Warmouth,Red Ear, Long Ear,Red Breast , Pumkinseed & even the Black Bass THEY ARE ALL SUNFISH!!!!! not Perch.Just my two cents.

Most folks say "perch" to lump them all together because they really dont know what each one is.

Courage - knowing something will hurt and still doing it. Stupidity - knowing something will hurt and still doing it. That’s why life is difficult

It probably won`t solve world hunger or anything like that but at least you will know what you are talking about and not considered Ignorant or Unlearned about the subject.I thought it was an interesting question that was worth a little research.I am glad I did. It`s funny how some people are so immature that when challenged with a question they can`t answer they become upset and offensive.Grow up man. Some of us use this forum to get knowledge.(from a non Yank)
