The meeting will be held Wednesday 8/17 at 7pm at Herschel's Family Restaurant in Mount Pleasant.
We will be going over and approving the initial format, tournament schedule, point system, and other foundational decisions.
This will be a 100% payout, team tournament format with individual points. Current plans are to keep things close. Im looking forward to meeting some of you folks and enjoying some good food.

I tried to send Bob Gross and Gary Gruber, but they both said that Hershels was closed????? Those 2 might be interested, heck, almost everyone in the individual or team Media NE division might be interested.

Thanks Thad. I forget that Bob and Gary are out here.
The meeting went well and we had a great turnout. I kind of expect to double what we had next month which is amazing. The Hershel's in Mound Pleasant is down near the Walmart on the West side of the road and we will be meeting in the back meeting room each month. I'll post more info after we get the website up and running.
Some of the highlights from the meeting:
100% payout a the ramp.
Team format tournament $60/boat covers $10BB entry per boat.
Individual points
1st tournament will be Lake of the Pines Sept 17th, meeting will be the 15th.
All tournaments will be very close to or under 1 hour of Mount Pleasant.
We are putting together the lineup of lakes and will post them on the website.
We are considering having the end of year tournament in July, skip fishing in Aug (banquet?) and having each year start in September.
I probably left some things off but that's a good bit of what we covered/voted on together. We are trying to line up a guest speaker for the October meeting.
