i will tell you the exact spot solely bc i am not picky about it, i want everyone to catch fish, we launched at pecan creek on lone oak road right past the 2nd bridge, its the only free ramp i know of on ray roberts, went out to my grandparents stocked tank and caught a bunch of sunfish the day before, froze them and then cut them up for bait, there is a point straight out maybe 1/2 a mile from the ramp, went around to the other side of that point maybe 150 to 200 yds offshore in 22-27 ft of water drifting, the fish were schooled up there, we caught 21 cats in about 4 hours, these were just the 2 biggest, we had a couple other bites that felt bigger than these but both broke off

the dark ones have been in shallow water for awhile, turn dark shallow and light when they have been deep for awhile.
