Hey what do u guys say about a big fish pot Remember Lewisville has a slot- 30" - 45" don't count This is why I think you should do as Tom suggested and bring some ice and have a real weigh in the morning. Weigh ins are part of the fun. Just let the slot do its job. Really big fish are prolific eaters but not necessarily superior breeders when compared to slot fish...just my two cents. I am not going to lobby too much because I haven't talked to my wife yet. I got inlaws coming in town but I do not think they will be here until Saturday afternoon.

so the winner is the biggest fish excluding slot fish, or you measure the fish including slot fish on the boat using a control item and then release? I am assuming you want length and girth?
A bad day of fishing is still a great day

Usually weigh it with pic if fish, control item and scale. This is more or less an honor system

Could there be some kind of weigh station so we don't have to kill the fish. I prefer to let them go. $10 is very reasonable. Thanks Tom. Harvest...not kill...we don't want set off the PETA people. I don't like to eat anything over 6-7lbs. When fish are that large or larger I let them live. The 2-6 pounders are in grave danger of hitting hot grease. I just am looking for a way to weigh the larger fish and realease to fight another day. For the people who want to keep and eat their fish I have zero problems with that. I prefer to eat the smaller ones. Just my
