Well ... sir ... you might not know this but this boat is rigged with a MK EUDURA 40.

That's 40# of thrust using a six inch telescoping handle that will conveniently put all that power AT your finger tips. That's not to mention the indestructible composite shaft that is flexible and stronger than steel.

Running this boat on wide open, watching that sweet prop cavitation is a true testament to Minn Kota's legendary cool and quiet power.

I used to fish with a buddy that had one just like that. It was cool on ponds. I sure like my Yak's but I do miss that thing. Not even bad for two guys and some brews.

When I started looking at them I knew that I would be fishing alone most of the time (I just moved here and don't know many folks) so the weight was important to me. This boat is the lightest 2 man they sell, it's about a hundred pounds w/o seats.

I got a gas mat battery so that saved another 8-9 pounds. The TM is pretty heavy but I had it sitting around in the garage for years.

If any of you have one of these boats and no longer use it, I might want to buy it at the right price.

Most boats (without seats) are worth about $100 - $150 used if they are in good shape.

PM me.

I am not sure what size of boat you can have to fish this with.

The website says the boat can be no bigger than 14 feet. Looks like fun.

LBJ grasslands would be just right for this deal.

I don't own a gas motor so fishing on a big lake wouldn't work for me.

What is your boat rated for? I have the standard 9.5' bass hunter and I think it was rated at 5 hp. Mine has the low sides. i wonder if it would get up on plane with a 5hp on it.

Nope, not even close. They just sorta push their way along so to speak.

It's rated for 5 hp.

LBJ lakes are so big that I might need an extra battery to fish it on the far sides.

Gas is the only way to go. All you need is a trolling speed. I don't get anywhere fast with my 2.5hp but I catch a lot of fish on the way. I can go all weekend on a half gallon of gas, too.
