Just started saltwater fishing off the levee at pleasure island. I am used to freshwater fishing, and just wanting some pointers from people who know what they're talking about! I've caught a bunch of small reds and one 17 incher in my two weeks but nothing else? NEED HELP!

thanks!!

If your going to fish the levy try fishing the flo-pipes on an out-going tide .
Rock's are pretty bad there so a popping cork may be the way to go . I've done well with rattle traps there also .

Try bigger bait, such as croaker.

Are you fishing the north or south? Ive always caught more speck on the south rocks. Live croaker or mud minows under a cork. I usually do better on reds on the north wall. My great uncle use to catch some big flounder off pleasure island using minnows.
