I fished Lake Fork from about 10 PM until 2 AM on Wednesday night. Launched at Oakridge and I was the only boat around - didn't see any trailers at the Minnow Bucket either. Oak Ridge is OK to launch if you use the northern most side of the ramp - the side closest to Minnow Bucket. Only saw 3 boats running the boat lanes all night. It was about 94 degrees when I went out and it felt like it never cooled down. Did have a nice breeze but very muggy the whole time - I perspired thru my shirt and shorts. Caught a few bass to about 5 lbs and bugs were scarce. Was happy to find some grass in the area I like to fish.

Hey Blu-Ranger;

I fish mostly the lower part of the lake nearest the dam in the heat of the summer.

I don't think it ever cools down right now. It seems to be just as hot at night as it does in the middle of the day.
