My wife is about to start cleaning out the hall closet to send stuff to Goodwill. She asked me if there was anything in there that I wanted to keep. I remembered this stuff was in there. I was mid 20 something when this was bought new, about my second year into tournament fishing....Both pieces are adult medium and now I wear adult extra large. You can tell by the styling this stuff is dated, it almost reminds me of the leisure suit days. My 10 year old daughter saw it and wants the shirt for a night shirt and plans on wearing the jacket to school this year.....I just hope they don't laugh at her.....
Getting this stuff out sure brought back a lot of really neat memories. I had the same gear when I was fishing out of Nitros. I gave all that away...This stuff just seems to have a lot more meaning to it........Thats why I still have it......

No that was back before my internet/computer days...I think my mom had some pictures of my rigs...I've been out of the tournament scene since 2000. Raising a family had to take priority....I will be back in the game in a year or two if everything goes right, prolly in a Cat or a Skeeter this time around...

Gots that cigerette pocket! I could use that shirt, I quit smoking in 95 but it would be handy to carry my reading glasses in to tie baits.

I've got some tourney shirts like that from the lure company i was sponsored by, i think i have some with the pockets too lol..

I have a really old merc jacket that's styled like Burt reynolds trans am jacket from the first Smokey and the bandit,

If i get up in the attic anytime soon i'll drag the stuff down and take some picks lol..

Ok the hat showed up today in the closet cleaning...I thought I had lost it years ago. It was so old that the the foam that supports the part behing the Ranger logo had dry rotted out of it. I had to hold it up with my hands to take the photo....You know at one point before my daughter decided she wanted this stuff. I almost threw it all away...she grabbed the hat too....my yellow lab duck dog in the back ground.....

Those are antiques right there.
