OP Aquiles Extreme Angler A Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 1,281 Texas, Dallas	Stopped by the creek at the Bruton Soccer complex off cartwright in Mesquite yesterday thought I would catch some sunfish .. next thing I know I'm hooked into a really nice 17 inch bass on my 4 lb test .. that was a great fight .. next half hour caught 5 more around 14-15 inches the fishing in that creek is awsome .. its the same creek ive been telling people about it flows all thru Mesquite thru most of the parks and its really nice since the parks are clean and have public restrooms great place to take the kids fishing .. if you havent tried it go out there and tell me how you do .

Ive cause several 9 inch green sunfish out of that creek . gonna go back today after work I'll be there around five if anyone is near stop and say "Hi"
