how are the red ears from the banks? thinking of making it out theres this saturday.

I would try to get to the wall to fish for the Redear. Cally has some huge Redear. I have always caught em from the wall and at other places that you could get to only by boat. As for bank fishing for em I have not seen any reports. I would try the dock or fish by some structure. Good luck.

Maybe try along the reeds near the points if trying from the bank. I have done pretty good there but that was when it was cooler.

alright. ive usually caught them just casting out real far. ill try diferent spots.

Reeds adjacent to deep water (on points basically, like Mike said) are your best bets for finding redears this time of year down in South TX. They've produced for me before.

caught about 9 smaller gills. no red ears. no bigguns. i usually catch those on liver next time next time.
