Did a 5 hr. tourist trip from Cancun area last week and had fun. 53" Baracuda and this Mackerel were some of the catch.

Good one!

I would rather have a bad day fishing, than a good day at the office!

Honestly I don't know. I didn't make the arrangements. We were at a resort and my buddy booked it with the Lumas Travel guys. Was based at another resort down the road from the Eldorado Royal where we stayed. They had longer trips but the one we did was 5 hours for a little over $500 and you had the whole boat to yourself. Crazy thing to me was that we were fishing less than an mile out and it was 350-400 feet. Gotta go a long way out from Galveston to be that deep and blue!

Ya, it is beautiful down there. We went to Cozumel in March. We did a trip from our resort. I think our's was called Cozumel Charters, but they go out of Cancun as well. It was a very rough day, and we never got out too far. We could see land the entire time. The Tuna in my signature was our only catch, but it was still a lot of fun. It was just me and my cousin on the boat, I think it was right at $500 as well.

The reason I was asking, is the deck hand in your post looks exactly like the one from our boat. His name was Freddy.
