I am completly lost on going for bass. I don't have a boat so I barge an bank fish an I try all the lures I have an I have still not caught one bass. It might be how I'm useing the lure or something but they don't bite when they see my bait. I'm use to putting liver on the hook an tearing those cats up but I want to try something new can someone please show me the way

This time of year they are in deeper water than the barge. The only chance you have in July off the barge is from 6-7am.After that, the sun comes up and the bass go deeper.

If i were you, i'd stay away from the lake for a lil while and try some local ponds to hone your bass fishing skills, you can get real discouraged real quick trying to fish a big lake during the summer from the bank.
Good Luck.

G'vine fish south end of dam off the rocks. C-rig 1oz weight 3' leader french fry in green pumpkin or Cherry seed . Drag slowly on bottom.

There are tons of ponds between Euless and Lewisville. Look on Google maps for ponds in parks etc.

If you want bites (quantity not quality) try a 4" worm (watermelon seems to work everywheres) and a light sinker. Thats why people have boats, so they can drive all over tarnation looking for fish, it's going to be tougher being stuck in one spot.

Use simple stuff like 5 inch senkos, power worms, and finess worms. I would use a drop shot, carolina rig, or a texas rig. these all work during the summer. fish them slowly and keep them on the bottom. Hope this helps if i were you i would join a local bass club and try to find someone to fish with in local tournaments.

I fish a couple of ponds in the Keller area. My experience this time of year is moving baits real, real early and plastics real, real late. In the mornings, I can do pretty good with a buzz bait along the shoreline. In the late evenings, I have done pretty well with a Grande Bass 4.5" Rattlesnake in green pumpkin, watermelon red and even chart/pepper.
I have had a lot of luck with the Chatterbait in the mornings...not some much in the evenings.
