I went out with my pops today at Pool. We were on the water at sunlight and large mouths were hitting the topwaters. One 5 lb'er and the rest were small but nothing like seeing the explosion on poppers and ribbits!

Where on pool are you finding them? My son and I (both rookies) keep coming up empty.

Mix in one solid one, and the dinks don't seem as small for the remainder of the trip, glad u guys caught some..

JP can be good and bad lake. Lots of small fish but some nice toads also.

JP can be good and bad lake. Lots of small fish but some nice toads also. +1 I've had more overs out of that lake than slot fish.
