Just wondering if anyone has been out since the heat turned on?
My son and I were catching a steady flow of catfish every outing for the past couple months, but we haven't been in about 3-4 weeks, just wondering if anyone has been having any success there?

Yes, parts are plenty big enough to float along, however, at the park area there are several sets of falls. Then the river turns onto private land. Make sure you do the proper scouting and know where everything is or it might be a little dangerous.

Is that river big enough to float in a canoe? Thanks that river will be tough on the bottom of a canoe, i know that. sharp granite ( I think it's granite )
Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

Made a trip down last night, fished in Area 1. We fished with nightcrawlers and turned up two cats and several bluegill and bass. Had a really good time, the cover is really nice down there, you can fish in the evening time with some good shade.
Steven is right, you would rough a canoe up, there are tons of falls as well.
