After living in Florida for 14 years seeing a gator is super common. 14 feet is pretty big but nothing that out of the ordinary. Seems like in Texas people get way more excited about them. I used to catch small gators on my fishing poles when I was in middle school. It was lots of fun. Probably illegal but when your 13-14 you don't worry if it's illegal or not. We never killed them though. We used to catch them and then let them go. Catching a large gator is the same as catching a large fish. I guess people care more about gators though.

You see, I told you it was to feed your own ego, so you are no better than the hunter.

And I respect that.

Thanks.

For the record, I DO NOT see you as a reasonable person at all.

You really seem like someone I would not enjoy spending time with by the way you argue a point,
You put down and speak with the nastiness of a "wanna be" bully.

I have seen several on here disagree with each other with out the "holier than thou attitude" that you reek of.

Are you enjoying this?

I have seen a few like you come and go here, I suspect you will find somewhere else more to your liking eventually.

DO NOT interpret my silence towards you any further as weakness.

I enjoy a good debate. Iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another. Just ribbing you two because of your one sidedness. Please don't take it personal. Ren & most of these fellas know me better.
No one needs to defend me or jump on you. Just please don't try to get this thread locked or deleted.

Back to the subject of the record 14' I mean big 13' gator. Was it really only 13'1" & not a 14'? Looks like it could go 14'

Sounds even more fishy now with the new info. what is the lawyer saying?

I dont think anything is going to happen just more investigation and rumors. Should only feed our drama. The Wifie is rolling her eyes at us calling us DRAMA QUEENS. LOL!!!

Enough! I have been patient. I have grown thick skinned. I have put up with.......oops, wrong thread.

This one's been very entertaining though.

Keep calm, and banter on. wink

Zombie, as near as I can tell laying on its back the belly was 13' 1 1/2. Hanging it went 13'8".

Search "Big Gator Leon County" and you can get all 4,6,8 or 10 versions. laugh

I'm not one sided. Kinda in the middle actually. If the kill was legal, for sustenance, and safety of fellow man, then I'm ok with it. But if the kill was illegal and just for a trophy, then not so much. Prefer it to be captured to be relocated or put in refuge. Oh BTW, I don't know you sucka! rolfmao cheers

I was hoping you and Barrblues would have a better debate about the topic, but sadly it was a disappointment.
