I was glad to see the lake caught a couple of inches of rain, every inch counts with it this low. Today I fished Somerville with Dave Mayo and his son Tanner, from Dripping Springs, TX. They told me after looking at my website that they figured when they came fishing it would be one of those...you should have come yesterday kind of days. Not this time, they were on fish quickly, with Dave boating the largest for the day with a 4# blue and several just under that one. They ended the day with 50 cats by 10:15am and were talking about when they could do their next trip. Fish caught on CJ's Shad punch bait, under cork, in 8-10 foot water.
