I want to build or buy something that will hold up a light beach umbrella over the front of my champion. Any ideas? It sure would be nice when it's triple digits outside.

Boat Caddy used to make one that fastened to your front seat pole with a holder for the umbrella. Nothing like man made shade and a pair of Crocs to make it through a day and some

get 4 (t's) for shc 40 pvc. make an H with 2" pvc. You can then put one end of the H on the seat pole.. and the other side is out away from the seat and you can stick an outdoor umbrella into that side.
it would actually look more like a square instead of an H. two runners in the middle ( I=I )

Good idea. Just cant be casting overhanded, or you might end up with a hell of a backlash.

Just made a set of those today. I plan on testing them out this Saturday. Forecast says 103 with almost no clouds.

Just get one of these and you'll be good to go.

I just put one on my boat. Its great. My only advice is to tie a string to it, then to the mount. If the wind catches it, it will go overboard, and you will be trying to hook it with a ewg hook like i had too. I guess you could drill a hole trough the pipe, and umbrella pole, and pin it.
