I going to try to get my Dad out this weekend for some catfishing on Pines. It has been a couple of years since we have been out there and was wondering if anyone would give us a report on whats working, depth, any bait working better than others, and anything else you care to offer. We will probably put in at Copeland Creek.

Thanks, Bubba

I would probably go back around to the right toward Island View. Take some 20%cubes and bait a couple places up. I have good luck with a #6 treble with Catfish Charlie myself. Good luck.

I would NOT put in at Copeland if it were me. That ramp is so silted in, it absolutely sux putting the boat back on the trailer. Just my opinion though.

I appreciate the info. Any suggestions on a ramp to use where the fishing has been decent? The last time I was at Island View the ramp was in really bad shape, and until the ownership changes it probably won't get any better.

Thanks, Bubba

find you a stump to tie to west of Island View in about 20' of water and bait with cubes and sour corn, fish with catfish charlie or chicken livers and you will catch some catfish
