Hey everyone. Im new to fishing here in san antonio area. Dont have much money to spare. Does anyone know of somewhere nearby that I could stay the night out fishing? I was hoping there was a free spot somewhere. A lake tho, not a pond.

Gas is too expensive to get out to corpus unless some others would like to join an chip in on gas.

Thanks.

You might have better results in the partner find.
Pull up your area lakes on your computer and see what they offer. Most of them will tell you about camp sites, fishing docks and etc..

What about creeks? We have tons of great creeks to fish here in San Antonio that will only cost you a couple of dollars in gas to fish. Also is there any particular species of fish you plan on catching?

welcome to TFF!
try Calaveras lake and Bruanig lake, it cost $4.00 for a 24 hour permit tat you can use at either lake, there are certin places at both lakes you'll have to pay more, but if you don't need a covered shelter with a picnic table you can pretty much be anywhere near the water.
