Hey Scott, If you pre-reg at Dicks on Friday night and you can get on the water early can you launch your boat over at the dam boat ramp on the SW side??? or does every one have to launch at the WRBC ramp on the NE side??? I'll be at Dicks Friday to pre-reg, will you be up there??

To everyone fishing this weekend, just know that this girl is in there. Hurts that I won't be able to fish it:

Enjoy the lake,

Thanks for the pick. TPWD shocked a 10 lber before they dredged it and I'll bet that was her. If that pick show's where you caught her that's not to far from where they shocked the 10 lber. think we might spend some tournament time around there...

The more I look at that pick the more I think It's just under 8lbs,my guess is 7.15 lbs. when ever in dought take it to BPS just 30 minutes away or to Jimmys wheel in by the spill way, they have a scale for selling minnows.

there was a rumor about a ten pounder that surfaced during a survey. but the TPWD biologist stated it was not true, electrosurveys rarely make fish over 7 pounds surface.

the lake was dredged from 1996 to 1998, any 10# fish that was alive before that time has probably died, since a 10# will most likely be around 4 to 5 years old, and the average life of a bass is 16 years.

i would bet there are many 10lb in whiterock. It has a healthy bass population, lots of bait, and almost no boat pressure. I have caught some nice fish the couple times I have been out there in my boat! Hopefully the trend will continue TOMORROW!
