Hello i'm a little new to fishing and was wondering if there are any community ponds or lakes(small or large) that i can go to fish that are within a 40 minute drive from garland.

it doesn't really say any more about the location by ITT. I live in Richardson, where is this pond located?

Also, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was put into the lake and caught many different kinds of fish. Matt. 14:47

Hey all had to go pick up my cap and gown and could'nt help but toss in a line at the pond by ITT, well one cast turned into many 30 minutes later I had pulled in three fish . I hope the last one survived he really swallowd the lure and i put him in the water still hooked while I hobbled back to my car to get my hook remover ( was'nt able to reach it by hand ) when I put him back in he did'nt swim right away .. kept an eye on him but finally had to leave and he still was not swimming on his own .. real shame I hate when that happens but somtimes I just don't feel the bite and the fish really swollows it . This is the first time I have'nt been able to save the fish . Was tempted to just take it home ..better I eat it then it go to waste .. well here are the pictures .All were caught using the Zoom Baby Brush Hog in Watermelon/Red

You can always cut the line which is better for the fish, the hook will rust out pretty quick in a fishes mouth, if i remember correctly they have some type of acid in their mouth that will take care of the hook in a matter of days and cause no harm to the fish.
Just an opinion
