I know that there are several variables that go into results, but what kind of baiter are you?
My votes will be that I do better as a prebaiter and that I do not prebait and I can tell I don't catch as much.
PB Buff - 56lbs PB Common - 26lbs PB Mirror - 7lbs PB Grasser - 45lbs PB Koi - 10lbs

I don't prebait usually and catch consistently. Right bait at the right time at the right place makes all the difference.

Prebaiting can make a big difference. But to really be effective i think bait has to be going in consistently. My best sessions ever were when I took over a swim when someone else left. A few days of bait going in, and the fish were all over it. I remember one session where I didn't catch fish for 2 days, then I hauled on the 3rd and 4th day. This has happened more than once for me.

Depends on how long I am fishing, what the venue is, and what time of year it is. If I am fishing a short session I will prebait the swim the day before this time of year. I find that I get the bite on right away when I do this, where as not baiting I usually don't see my first run for an hour or 2 after I start fishing. If I am in a place I have never fished, I will toss out some bait and group my hook bait around it. If I see fish crashing though, forget pre-baiting, get those hooks in the water with a little PVA bag fulla flavor!

I don't prebait usually and catch consistently. Right bait at the right time at the right place makes all the difference. +1 only place I pre-bait is weatherford lake and it def. makes a difference there for some reason.

I don't think the available selections pertain to me. I generally don't prebait be but when I do I notice a difference. When I don't prebait my results are very inconsistent; sometimes I do ok sometimes not.

I feel confident in saying that in my experience prebaiting a swim does make a huge difference particularly if done daily.
Not just for me. I have seen this in many cases even recently on trips with fellow TFF carpers.
IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
On close range pegging (-the end pegs) it also can be the difference between winning or losing, grated we are not talking (pre)baiting here during the match but rather baiting well the right way all throughout the match.
