Horse Eye Jack it is, table fare depends on how hungry you are....... Not like the Jack Carvelle, Horse Eye can be eaten. They do fight well, your Dad have a great time pulling them in. But, i will take the Amber Jack, 20-30lb variety, and cooked right, If, your Dad tasted the Amber jack, next rig trip he would be packing a two speed reel and heavy jigging rod and jigs and olive oil. Fishing every break.......

horse eyed jack. Caught one last summer and gave it to a friend. He said it was delicious but i think he was lying to save face since i told him it was top quality fish but in reality its not. lol
