Thinking of going saturday. Any advice???? I caught five last saturday on watermelon senkos wacky rigged but they were all around 14 inches. Tried brushhogs and jigs with no luck.

Hey Blondie ... Get you a 3/16 shakey head and rig you a grandeBass chartreuse pepper 4.5" rattlesnake or watermelon rattlesnake and finesse fish it and hang on for the hard bite . Works for me at alan henry every weekend ...
Feel the bite ,set the hook and bruise a rib ...

Henry is still on fire. We have been going out there and having 30+ fish days regularly for the past month. I managed to pull a 20 lb sack in our club tourney last weekend. Shakey heads and T-rigs will get you bit everywhere.

Hey guys I need some help finding bigger fish at Alan Henry. Don't get me wrong I like catching spots as much as the next guy but I need to find some bigger lmb. Should I back off of the trees and fish deeper or what.

Haha I just saw the other 3 posts about lah spots. I guess I need to use bigger baits.... Wish we had other lakes near Lubbock.

I would trade you AH for Phantom any day of the week... AH is a great lake if you know how and where to fish. Anybody can go out and catch the spots, or catch fish on a lake that doesn't get pressured. AH gets pressure but still fishes great. dkmode34, find the dirtier water and you'll find the big girls.
